- The last few years Erik worked while I went to school and we've reversed roles. I'm working as a Speech Language Specialist in the schools and Erik's in school for massage therapy. And yes, I make him do all his homework. We are grateful we didn't have to sell our house in the summer of 2008 and that we have a steady income. We are continuing to make our house a home and are looking forward to whatever opportunity awaits... this could include moving to somewhere new and exciting and having children (in whatever way God intends). For now our 4 children include: Jack (Cocker Spaniel), Kai (Jack Russel-Terrior-Dalmation mutt), Kissy (A stubborn tabby who hated canned food and now won't eat anything else), Zu-Bear (the deffender of our property), Larry/Curly/Mo/Burt/Ernie (Our chickens-yes we know the names are masculine and match their very loud 6-am laying routine), and a bunch of pond fish that don't have names except for: "The one that survived the giant pump".
